Right to Equality (R2E) is proud to be shortlisted as a finalist in the Not-for-Profit Organisation or Representative Body of the Year category at the Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2026, a national recognition of organisations driving meaningful change across the legal profession.

Selected from more than 300 entries, this shortlisting reflects the growing impact of R2E’s work to challenge inequality, confront systemic failings, and push for transparency within the justice system.

R2E campaigns for:

  • Transparency and accountability in the family courts

  • Stronger protections for survivors of domestic abuse and gender-based violence

  • Open justice and responsible scrutiny of expert evidence

  • Structural reform that centres women and children

Working alongside survivors, journalists, academics and parliamentarians, R2E continues to challenge secrecy, expose injustice, and advocate for reforms that strengthen fairness and public confidence in the courts.

The winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony on 28 April 2026 at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, bringing together leaders committed to building a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.

This nomination reflects the strength of a growing movement for accountability, equality, and reform.

R2E congratulates all fellow finalists and looks forward to the awards ceremony.
