For decades, the family courts have operated largely behind closed doors. Last year, the government announced the nationwide rollout of the Family Court Reporting Pilot, aimed at increasing transparency around the life-altering decisions affecting children and families every day.

Our Family Court Blog is one of the few outlets where accredited journalists and legal bloggers can publish reporting on family court hearings.

If you are a journalist or legal blogger and interested in being paid a flat rate of £250 per 800-1,000 word article, please contact info@righttoequality.org with the subject line: Reporting from the Family Courts.

Check out this information sheet for parents and family members on reporting in the family court by journalists and legal bloggers.
